Message from the Head of the JKC MUN Project.
Harsh Purmessur.
Zonal and National MUNNER in 2019.
After setting up the JKC Debating Club, I had a vision to create a school-level MUN conference. Having participated in the MUN 2019 batch at zonal and national level, I wanted to share with my fellow Kennedians the knowledge and skills I have acquired over the years. Currently, the college has many dynamic students with unlimited potential, who are ready for the challenge of a MUN conference. I had the chance to work with them and I can see their passion and commitment to JKC MUN. This dream would not have been possible without these enthusiastic students, as well as the team of staff who work alongside me. On an ending note, I wish them all the best in their future endeavours, and will patiently await the success of the very first JKC MUN.

8 years later, my time as a student is coming to an end and I will definitely miss the Kennedian family. What I have learned is that having fun, whether in a good or bad way, is as important as learning. Of course the memories with the entire Kennedian family, remain in my heart. ALWAYS A KENNEDIAN !

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That’s why it is called the present.
Message From the Head of Debate Club.
Up Close and Personal.
The JKC Debate Club has evolved into something which surpassed all the expectations that I had about it when it was first created in 2021. Reminiscing about the days when it lived only in thoughts, it is overwhelmingly impressive to even think about how it is now consistuted of more than 60 members who showed their willingness to join it. This could not have been possible without the support of many and I would like to express my gratitude through this note.
First and foremost, the setting up of the club would not have been possible if the Rector did not share the same enthusiasm as my team and I about this project and provide with his approval for it, so I would like to thank him for that. The teachers of the English Department also greatly aided us, especially Mrs. Appadoo and Mr. Valaydon. From dealing with my annoying requests to advising me, I deeply appreciate the effort that they put in to make this club a reality. And to my friends making up the members of the executive, the bond between us surely has strengthened throughout our journey together and my gratitude towards you for sticking with me all the way through is immeasurable.
However, one person who deserves a whole section of his own is my dear friend, Harshit Purmessur. Present with me since the very beginning, he shared my optimism about this group and agreed to be a mentor to the other members, taking up the responsibility of organising and managing all the activities. The arduous work that you have put into this project has been praised by and benefited many. Thank you for being a principle reason as to why this club even exist today.
A special thanks to the Head Team, the Student Council Body and the people of the Press Club & Computer Club for also providing with their generous support.
All that is to say, the progress of JKC Debate Club is the work of all of you and without your collaboration, there is no doubt that we would not be able to see it operate the way that it is today. From rubble to an empire that will hopefully withstand time, I would like to again thank everyone involved in making this a reality.
